Labor, Resources Department of Bihar has published the vacancies for appointment for vacant posts of Vocational Instructor in ITI colleges of Bihar on contract basis. The vacancies for instructors are for following trades/ subjects –

Qualification- For Vocational Instructors
a. Educational Qualification- Matriculate or Equivalent
b. Technical Qualification for Engineering Trade

1.Degree in Engineering or 2. Three year diploma in related subject or 3. National Educated Certificate or National Trade Certificates in related trade.
c. Technical Qualification for Non Engineering Trade:
1. Drawing Instructor- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Drawing Certificate issued by Institute recognized by N.C.V.T
2. Math Instructor- Degree in Engineering
3. Stenography in Hindi / English- Should have minimum 120 word per minute in Shorthand and minimum 40 word per minute in typing speed. Good command in English and Skilled in Hindi is must. Computer knowledge is necessary for stenography.

Experience- For all trade

After get technical degree minimum experience in related subject –

a. 1 year experience for Degree,

b. 2 years of experience for Diploma holder

c. 3 years of experience for National Trade Certificate/ National Educated Certificate holder. For All Trade.

Expected Eligibility- Principal of Teaching (POT) Certificates from any Institute recognized by D.G.E.T.

Age Bar- As on 01.08.2009. Minimum 18 years for all and maximum
A. 37 years for all outside than Bihar and General Category of Bihar
B. 40 years for Woman General Category
C. 40 Years for OBC/EBC men and women
D. 42 Years for SC/ST Men and Women
E. 65 years for Retired Person.

Salary- Approx Rs. 10,500 per month all appointed instructor in all categories.

Period of Contract- 12 month.

Process of Recruitment- On basis of eligibility/ Written Examination/ Interview.
