Application on plain paper coining name, father's name, date of birth, permanent and mailing address, details of educational qualifications from matriculation onwards, experiences, academic achievement to the post of Principal under the L.M.M.U. services on permanents basis. Duly filled in application along with Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- (Rs, 750/- for SC/ST) in the name Registrar, L.M.N.U. and payable at Darbhanga along with attested copies of relevant marks sheet/ certificate/ testimonials must be submitted latest by the January 5, 2009 either directly or through post in the office of the undersigned.

(B) Qualification & experience
1. Principal (Professor's Grade)
(i) A master's degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in 7 Point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E, & F
(ii) Ph.D. or equivalent qualification.
(iii) Total experience of 10 years of years of teaching / Research in Universities / Colleges and other institution of Higher education.
II Principal ( Reader Grade)
(i) A master's degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in 7 Point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, E, & F.
(ii) Ph.d or equivalent qualification.
(iii) Total experience of 10 years of teaching / Research in Universities/ Colleges and other institution of Higher education.
(C) Relaxation
(i) Relaxation of 5% may be provided, from 55% to 50% of the marks, at the Master level for the S.C. /S.T. category as well as for the physically and visually handicapped persons.
(ii) Relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks of the Ph.D. degree holder who have passed their Master's degree prior to the 19th Sept.1991.
(iii) The grade of B in the point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E & F shall be regraded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed.
(D) Reservation :- General - 18, SC-06, BC-04, EBC - 07 & BC Women -01
(E) Instruction :- Candidates in service other than L.N. Mithila University Services are required to submit their application through proper channel with NOC from his/her present employer.
