Bihar Government has decided to recruit more then two lakh "Meth" for every panchayat of Bihar. Minimum 5 Meth will be recruited in each Panchayat. These "Meth" will be do work for NREGS (National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme )/ NREGA.
Job Profile of "Meth" of NREGS/NREGA - These "Meth" will be responsible for supervise the required person for get labour in NARES works. Meth will have to collect all data of BPL Job card holder families of their area. "Meth" will have to ensure that every needy BPL Job card holder may get jobs in NREGS works. "Meth" will also give payment to labour of NREGS in proper way. "Meth" will check the accurate number of labours at work site. "Meth" will update muster roll of workers of NREGA/NREGS. "Meth" will monitor work under NREGS/NREGA at work site also. Conclusively "Meth" will be as Supervisor of NREGA/NREGS related all work including labours work quantity and work quality.
Eligibility for "Meth"-
(1) Candidate should be residents of same Panchayat where he/she is applying.
(2) Candidate should be come in BPL category.
(3) Minimum Matric Pass
(4) Age should be between 18 to 50 years.
Consolidated Salary- Rs. 3600/- per month.
The Process of Selection of "Meth" - Every Panchayat will prepare panel of trained "Meth". In absence of trained "Meth" Panchayat will prepare merit list of applied candidate. Merrit list will be prepared on the basis of marks. The base of marks are following-
10 Marks - For Handicapped, Widow, SC, ST
10 Marks - For Minimum second division in matriculation and Intermediate exam.
5 Marks - For Third division in Matriculation and Intermediate exam.
7 Marks - For EBC
Elder aged person will be get preference in case of same marks in merit list.
